Lovely Mrs Sainsbury (who is 80 years old.....an inspiration to all of us) made a silk dress and needed buttons to finish it for a competition today. Her daughter found on the website, these New Zealand Paua buttons....she was so pleased with them she painted some silk to make into a hankie to match the dress and sent me a little sliver to show how perfect the buttons were......the other photo shows how unique and individual these beautiful buttons can be:
